The learner in Lilac Class has shown fantastic听independence听and听creativity听this week. He took full ownership of his听Mother鈥檚 Day听project, moving through the entire process from initial听planning听to the final听writing听with minimal adult support.

In addition to his thoughtful letter, he also composed an original听colour poem. His ability to select descriptive vocabulary and structure his ideas听autonomously听is a wonderful achievement. It has been a pleasure to see his听confidence听grow as he translates his own ideas directly onto the page.听
