The Cross Bay walk is a historic bay walk across the bay from Arnside to Grange. This walk is a guided walk by Kings guide to the Kent Estuary Michael Wilson. The walk dates back to the era of Henry VIII.听

The original route was from Hest Bank to Kents Bank, but due to the soft sand at Hest Banks the route has now been changed and is Arnside to Grange. The walk is around 9 miles in distance.

This is a huge achievement for our residents to have accomplished this, especially given the distance and terrain they had to cover. One of residents actually had a fear of water and sand before this point.

His parents couldn鈥檛 believe that he was able to accomplish something like this. It was such a big achievement for him that they couldn鈥檛 miss it and actually joined us for the whole walk.
